Kaziranga National Park, a biodiversity hotspot that inhales and exhales nature in every breath, is home to over a thousand species of flora and fauna. Beyond human efforts of safeguarding the natural resources of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, within Kaziranga dwell its own sentinels, keepers of a home they have guarded in their own ways.

Niraj Barua captures these sentinels through his lens, in the stillness and in the movement. This photostory is an ode to the sentinels who have played a crucial role in shaping Kaziranga National Park.
