While scrolling through social media, a line came across - "There are artists you admire, and then there are artists you feel. Zubeen Daa belongs to the latter."

And there could not be a better categorization for the legend of Assam.

Musician, singer, actor, director, poet, instrumentalist, philanthropist, linguist and what not. Sometimes, we are at a loss of words to define all the facets of Zubeen Daa's personality.

Here, we have curated a few photographs of our very own Zubeen Da that speak boldly of his raw aura.

And on one rough day for Assam, our beloved Zubeen Daa left for his heavenly abode, leaving a void that can never be filled.

Zubeen fans — People from across the state and world flocked to pay tributes to the Legend. And it was all because he was loved, as he loved.

Zubeen Samadhi — It was early morning; a fan reached his present abode, played Mayabini on his soundbox, cried, knelt before him and paid his tribute to the Legend claiming to the universe how Zubeen Daa still lives in our hearts and always will.

During a recent visit to Saras Mela in Guwahati, this photograph of Zubeen Garg at the stall of Aparajita SHG reminded that Zubeen Daa shall live on forever.

When Zubeen sang, he became a part of us. And he shall live forever, as a part of us. It is a quiet and deep absence now which we never thought we would feel six months ago. His songs echo in our hearts still. His aura not only transcends the boundaries of religion, region or age but also emotions. Name any emotion, and you will find that Zubeen Daa had sung something about it.

Assam lost an imperfectly good person! May his soul rest in peace and may he see the Assam of his dreams from heaven.
